Yes. Northwest Cabins offer custom built options. Buyers can choose from various floor plans, finishes, materials, colors, and even layout modifications to suit your needs and preferences.
How much does a portable cabin home cost?

What size are your standard cabins?
Our standard cabin floorplans are: 4.8m x 2.4m – 11.52m2 4.8m x 3.0m – 14.4m2 6.0m x 2.4m – 14.4m2 6.0m x 3.0m – 18.0m2 8.3m x 3.6m – 29.88m2 10.0m x 3.0m – 30.0m2
Do you custom build?
Yes, we do. We can design and build you a cabin or minor dwelling to meet your personal specifications.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is approximately $250 per hour. If the cabin is over 3.0m wide a pilot vehicle will also be required.
What is the expected build time?
We will start to build your cabin within 2 weeks of the deposit been paid, with an expected completion date of 8-10 weeks (weather dependent) for a standard open plan cabin.
Do you need council consent for under 30.0m2?
You do not require council consent for a cabin size of 30m2. Should the client require Electrical, Plumbing or services to be connected to the Mains, NWC has the capacity to either guide the client through the process or NWC can take care of all the COC documentation.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Our cabins are all built to comply with the building code and come with our 10 years workmanship warranty. We are an LBP registered business.
What are your payment terms?
We request a 50% deposit and the remaining 50% at 80% job completion for all cabins or minor dwellings, built at the Northwest Cabins yard, Helensville.
For onsite builds we request a 50% deposit, 40% payment at 80% job completion and the remaining 10% on completion.
